Nurse Practitioners/Urgent Care Practitioners (various hours)

Our GP-led Urgent Care Centre based at Yateley Medical Centre guarantees local patients an "on the day" appointment for anything which is medically urgent. We are expanding our team of Nurse Practitioners who work alongside GPs to provide this service. Our Nurse Practitioners also play an important part in the management of chronic disease.

Person Specification Application Form Job Description

 

Operations Manager (37 hours per week)

This is a newly created role, reporting directly to the Business Manager and will form part of the senior management team. It is therefore a fantastic opportunity for the right person to really influence how we provide the highest quality care to our patients and operate efficiently at scale.

It is predominantly based at Yateley Medical Centre overseeing the day to day management of our Help Hub, working closely with our Urgent Care Centre and Integrated Care Team to ensure that the care we provide to our patients is optimised. The role will also involve the effective management of staff across all three sites.

The successful candidate will have experience of managing a large team and the drive, sense of humour and “can do” attitude necessary to work with a practice which is continually trying to improve and innovate. Knowledge of EMIS would be a bonus.

Receptionist (Minimum 25 hours per week)

The role is predominantly based in our Help Hub at our site in Yateley but flexibility to travel in your own car to the other sites, all within close proximity, is essential. This is a busy, challenging but very rewarding rposition covering a wide range of duties. These include

  • Welcoming patients face-to-face on the front desk
  • Responding to a high volume of patient calls
  • Making appointments
  • Liaising with the clinical team
  • Processing prescription requests
  • Scanning and other general office administration activities

We are looking for a minimum of 25 hours per week but we can be flexible as we have a variety of shifts available and more than one role available. The Practice is open between 8.00 am and 8.00 pm, Monday to Friday and Saturday mornings 8:30 am -11:30 am.

The successful candidate will enjoy working in a team and have excellent communication and administration skills and the ability to multi task. A professional telephone manner and attention to detail are also required.

Previous experience in a medical setting would be an advantage.

Accounts Administrator (15 hours per week, over 3 days)

This is a newly created role, reporting to the Accounts Manager, to assist in the day to day management of the online accounts system and other administrative tasks. Duties include ensuring payments and invoices are prepared, submitted and processed correctly, prepare and coordinate deposit activities, reconciling petty cash, placing orders, assisting with the stock take alongside filing, scanning, and dealing with basic queries.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in an accounts administrative role, including an on-line accounting package (Quickbooks would be an advantage). They will also have a methodical approach, attention to detail and be a team player.

This would suit someone looking for 15 hours a week to fit in with other commitments, between the hours of 8.30am and 4.30pm, 5 hours per day.

Premises Administrator (15 hours per week, over three days)

This is a newly created role to assist the Patient Services Manager in day to day management of practice premises. Duties include fire and legionella testing, health and safety audits, risk assessments, arranging calibration and testing of equipment, assisting in the arrangement of premises maintenance, building security, general office tasks such as filing, scanning and photocopying.

The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in a similar facilities/premises/health and safety role with strong administrative skills. Good I.T. skills, a methodical approach and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels will also be required.

This would suit someone looking for 15 hours a week to fit in with other commitments, between the hours of 8.30am and 5.00pm, 5 hours per day.
